"We wanted to integrate both of our cultures when planning our wedding, but it was so difficult to find these elements anywhere. And all of the decor we saw online was generic or only followed current trends that didn't represent us at all.

I wanted to change that."

I absolutely love to travel.

And it's not just me, of course. I'm sure you have also been struck by a sense of wanderlust.

In visiting different areas of the globe, I have been captivated by the way that nature and culture blend into each other. And in planning my wedding, I realized how much I wanted to incorporate various elements into the decor and design. As crazy as it sounds, I wanted towering cacti from the desert or water features from the Mediterranean. I wanted to somehow bring the peace of a koi pond indoors - and the typical style of colored linens and flower walls wasn't really my style.

I created The Candlelit Cove because I love the beauty that an atmosphere can hold.

I love how design - and the original design of nature - can make you feel.

The texture of smooth rock and rough sand... rhythmic waves that can lull you to sleep... trees that fill you with a sense of peace and calm... sunlight and moonlight that illuminate and shade, all at once...

And somehow, we humans have been able to add our own fingerprint alongside nature's canvas. Cultural designs that seamlessly integrate in... It feels familiar.

I don't know what type of event you are hosting, but you are likely still reading because you can relate to the appreciation of travel and discovery. You see the wonder of nature as being beautiful all on its own; no synthetic-looking decorations needed.

Let's play with textures, plants and light to craft a truly inviting environment.
